Vasiliki Liberi was born in Kalamata in 1987. She started flute lessons with Vasilis Klampatseas and Vicki Vasiliadi at the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata and received a flute degree from Agia Paraskevi Municipal Conservatory with Aspasia Banou. She is a graduate of the Kalamata Music School and the Marketing Department of the University of Western Attica. She has attended an annual program of Music Education at the University of Crete and flute seminars with Christine Bureau, Peter Lukas Graf, Michael Faust and others. As a member of the Kalamata Music School Symphony Orchestra, she received the 1st Prize at the Ministry of Education’s Panhellenic Music Contest. She has participated in chamber music concerts in Kalamata, Athens, Corfu, Crete and Chios. In July 2016 she participated in the production of “George Souris NOW” by Eleftherios Veniadis at the Athens Concert Hall, as part of the Athens & Epidaurus Festival. Since 2013 she lives permanently in Chios and has been teaching flute at the Chios Music School, the branch of the National Conservatory in Chios and the Conservatory AIGEAS.
