The 6-member chamber music ensemble that was formed on the occasion of the 1st Chios Music Festival, under the artistic direction of Olga Holdorff-Myriangou, is composed by significant and internationally distinguished musicians. The program of the concert includes important and famous works from the international repertory, such as “Quartet No 21 in D Major” by Mozart, known also as “The Violet” and dedicated to Friedrich Wilhelm II, the king of Prussia, ‘Variations in C Major on “la ci darem la mano” by Ludwig van Beethoven, a variation of the famous duet from Mozart’s opera “Don Giovanni”, a work by composer Anton Webern, one of the most groundbreaking and pioneering composers of his generation, as well as 5 from the “36 Greek Dances” by Nikos Skalkottas.
