She is a graduate of the Music School of Pallini, studied advanced theory and monody with the soprano Marina Krilovic and graduated from the Athens Conservatoire with a degree in monody, with top marks. She has been involved with traditional, Byzantine and western music and plays tambura, traditional wind instruments and Constantinople lute. She first appeared in the discography with the Greek Music Archive and Chronis Aidonidis, while in 1993, she founded the “Palaiina Seferia” ensemble together with Karolos Kouklakis and Zacharias Spyridakis, with which they did two record productions and concerts in Greece and abroad. She has participated in numerous record productions, while she has collaborated with important traditional musicians and composers in Greece and abroad, including Ross Daily, Vangelis Papathanasiou, Yiannis Markopoulos, Giorgos Koumentakis and others. She teaches tambura at the Music School of Pallini, as well as folk song at the MA of the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
