Daughter of the urban planner and writer Stella Holdorff Myriangou from Chios and the German architect and painter Burkhard Holdorff, Olga Holdorff Myriangou has divided her life between Chios and Berlin since childhood, while building her artistic identity by harmoniously combining elements from both cultures. The Chios Music Festival, of which she and the composer from Chios Eleftherios Veniadis are artistic co-directors, almost from the very first moment found a valuable partner in Chios Music School. The teachers who staff the school have shared this common vision and are now stable collaborators who have contributed decisively to the festival, which this year celebrates eight years of continuous presence, also thanks to their own intensive input. Their fruitful collaboration, which has evolved into a long-term friendship, takes shape through various creative projects, one of which is the concert in which the teachers of the Chios Music School will perform for the first time with Olga Holdorff Myriangou in popular chamber music works by Schumann, Brahms, Mendelssohn, etc.
