An event with such a strong focus on classical music as the Chios Music Festival could not do without the “divina” Maria Callas, with her divine voice and turbulent life, a milestone in the music of the 20th century. In her honour, the festival, in collaboration with the Cinema Club of Chios, is showing the film Maria, starring Angelina Jolie and directed by Pablo Larain.
