This year, as every year, the Chios Music Festival includes in its programme a classical music concert with internationally renowned soloists, including Stephan Mörth, principal clarinet of the German Symphony Orchestra of Berlin, Cenk Sahin, associate principal french horn in the Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin and Achilles Liarmakopoulos, member of the Canadian Brass, one of the world’s most popular brass ensembles. The repertoire includes works by Bach, Mozart, Kaminski and Piazzolla, among others, while Alexandros Livitsanos’s “A nuvem triste” and Nikos Kypourgos’s waltz “Yellow” will be presented for the first time.
