The fretless guitar virtuoso, composer and arranger Cenk Erdoğan from Istanbul is coming to Chios for a concert and invites us to experience his latest sound adventure. On his new album, his charming baritone fretless guitar takes us on a magical musical journey of intense idiosyncrasies. His performances follow an innovative technique that distinguishes him from other guitarists and makes him unique in his genre. He has taught his technique in masterclasses at Berklee College of Music, created a dedicated online platform for teaching and promoting it, and is the only Turkish musician to have been invited on tour by the International Guitar Night, the world’s leading guitar festival. To cap an illustrious career, Erdoğan won a Grammy Award in the Best New Age Album category in 2021 for his contribution to Jim Kimo West’s “More Guitar Stories”.
