Collaborating again with the Cinema Club of Chios, the Festival is screening a biographical film dedicated to the early years of Bob Dylan’s brilliant career. 

In January 1961, 19-year-old Robert Allen Zimmerman arrives in New York from Minnesota. His interaction with folk legends Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger paved the way for him to become one of the most important musicians of the 20th century.

James Mangold captures a pivotal moment in musical history, where talent, revolution and the pursuit of an identity converge. Rather than being just a biography, the film reflects on the constant struggles of artists trying to define themselves in an ever-changing world. 

Timothée Chalamet gives a seductive performance as Bob Dylan.
