Sing for Europe!
An open musical gathering of choirs and the public
Sat, 3 Oct
On the steps of Berlin Cathedral
On 3 October, as part of the festive service celebrating the Day of German Unity, during which the Vice President of the German Bundestag will address the congregation, the children from Chios and the Girls’ Choir of Sing-Akademie will perform together Messa Latina by Giannis Christou.
Later that day, for an audience expected to exceed two thousand people, the adult choir of Sing-Akademie, the Staats- und Domchor Berlin and many other musicians will perform together.
The choral celebration will then move to the steps of Berlin Cathedral, overlooking the Lustgarten. Here, choirs and visitors will sing together under the motto:
“Sing for Europe!”
The event at Berlin Cathedral will be broadcast live. Click here for the live stream.
At this great celebration, the children of Chios will have the joy of representing Europe!
