Entering Zero Gravity

“Inspired by the beauty and vastness of the universe, the band Alpha Trianguli starts its journey into the infinity of sound worlds. […] the band sounds sometimes earthy and energetic –as if approaching a planet – sometimes calm, floating, wondering”.

This is how the members of the Austrian group Alpha Trianguli, invited to the festival, will present their atmospheric compositions to the audiences of Oinousses and Chios over the course of two nights. Entering Zero Gravity, their first album released in 2023 by Swiss label Unit Records, sets the mark of their artistic approach. 

The event is supported by the Austrian Embassy. The concert in Oinousses will be held in collaboration with the Oinousses Municipality. 

Performed by:

Alois Eberl: Trombonist, accordionist and composer, with an international presence, combining jazz, classical music and improvisation.

Florian Klinger: Vibraphonist and percussionist, member of the Volksoper Vienna Orchestra and leading jazz educator in Austria.

Philipp Kienberger: Double bassist and composer, active in the Viennese jazz scene, with influences from jazz and traditional music.

Jakob Kammerer: Drummer and composer, award-winning creator with an international presence in contemporary jazz and musical theatre.
